Colts and Fillys track off and running

Friday night was a great night to be a part of the Colt and Filly track program. The athletes competed in Pearsall for their season opener and the coaching staff could not be more impressed with what they saw. Pearsall ran the track meet off in a practice meet manner which allowed many DMS athletes to go home with ribbons as many placed well within their heats.

Glimpse….Shaon Chohlis, DHS ’89

Devine Tennis captures 2nd place at Edison

Devine Varsity Tennis Team came away with an impressive 2nd place this weekend at the Edison Tennis Tournament. Our kids played with a lot of patience and perseverance, never giving up till the end. Some had to play very skilled tennis players and lost, but never quit fighting.

Freshman Arabians close out season

The freshman Arabians wrapped up their 2016-2017 basketball campaign with a loss to the visiting Pearsall Mavericks by the final score of 33 to 16. It was a bad ending to what was a successful season that had the Arabians finishing with a 10 and 5 overall record including a 3 and 3 district mark.
