The Arabians are working hard early in the season for every point and against a tough school like Randolph the hard work paid off with a 3-1 win on August 13th. Devine beat Randolph 25-23, 19-25, 25-23, and 25-23.
“I thought we played with more energy and intensity then we did in Columbus. We passed the ball much better and we were able to run an offense on a more consistent basis. Our hitters were being way more aggressive. Even though we were moving a little slow on defense at times I thought we did a better job of covering the court,” said Coach Leigh Ann McIver.
