Arabian XC team runner-up in Uvalde; Rodriguez takes 1st, Garza and Rangel also in top 10

The Devine Arabians finished as the runner-up team in Uvalde last Saturday scoring 40 points in the process. Host Uvalde was the top team with 36 points.
Freshman Airyanna Rodriguez claimed the individual champion medal with a two-mile 14:27. Senior Yessika Garza placed sixth with a 15:10 while newcomer Charlee Rangel came in seventh at 15:26.
Other Arabians competing were Jilliyn Guajardo (12th-16:08), Kadence Yeats (14th-16:23), Trinity Black (21st-17:15), Rebecca Mares (24th-17:46), and Angie Garcia (29th-19:39).

The Arabians and Warhorses run in Devine Wednesday, August 18 at the golf course. The varsity Arabians start the day at 10:00am, followed by the varsity Warhorses at 10:30am and the JV squads.
