Arabian XC runner-up at Devine Golf Course; Joslin, Bowyer, Moralez, Garza top 10

Katelyn Joslin and Brianna Bowyer led the Arabian Cross Country team to a second-place finish last Wednesday in their second home meet of the season. Kristian Moralez (9th), Yessika Garza (10th), and Rebecca Mares (17th) were the top five finishers for Devine.
“We are battling through some nagging injuries but continue to improve every time out,” Head Coach Hannah Thompson stated. “As we get closer to competing for another district championship, our goal is to get healthy so we can give our best effort on October 28.”
Devine’s 40 points were second to Robert G. Cole’s 21 points. Jourdanton was the third place team with 84 points while Somerset finished fourth with 98.
