Arabian, Warhorse XC TEAM CHAMPS in Falls City; Carr wins individual championship; Alvarez runner-up

Jaden Alvarez took 2nd, Devo Dixon 4th and Jesse House 5th. The Wahorse CC Team won the Championship with 34 points.

The Devine Cross Country teams pulled off dual championships in Falls City last Saturday as the Arabians scored a season-low 32 points while the Warhorses scored a season-low as well with 34 points.


Aimee Carr led the way for her squad as she placed first overall with a time of 13:08. Rachel Stotts was third with a time of 13:11.
Claire Jones (4th-13:43), Airyanna Rodriguez (7th-14:00), Charlee Rangel (17th-14:40), Camila Sierra (18th-14:48), and Angelina Garcia (26th-15:33) also got those championship medals.
The Warhorses were paced by Jaiden Alvarez who placed second overall with a time of 18:59. Donovan Dixon was next at 3rd place then Jesse House at 4th place. Dixon finished with a time of 19:18 and House came in at 19:29.
Shawn Lowe (12th-21:25), Jake Riou (13th-21:43), Rowdy Esparza (21st-22:42), and Jonathan Moralez (27th-23:47) also competed on the championship team.
Junior Varsity
The JV Arabians got a championship performance from Jilliyn Guajardo as she came in first with a time of 15:59. Melia Hinojosa was third place with a time of 16:50 while Lexi Perez was 4th with a time of 17:01.

1st Devine 32, 2nd Stockdale 42, 3rd Falls City 48, 4th Karnes City 128, 5th Pettus 152, 6th Yorktown 161, 7th Three Rivers 161.
Boys team rankings
1st Devine 34, 2nd Stockdale 42, 3rd Nordheim 50, 4th Pettus 128, 5th Three Rivers 131, 6th Kenedy 144.
