Devine Head Cross Country Coach Hannah Thompson has seen much improvement from her Arabian and Warhorse runners during the first two and a half weeks of practice. Thompson’s runners have been beating the heat with early morning practices.
“We did our first time trial at the golf course last Friday,” Thompson stated regarding getting the first opportunity to get a meet-like feel to a practice. “It went very well and even though the kids have some work to put in, they have been working very hard these last two weeks.”
Due to COVID and constant updates from the UIL, the Arabian and Warhorse schedule is not yet set in stone. There will be more information in next week’s The Devine News.
