Golf tournament number two of the season is in the books as the Arabians played at The Republic in San Antonio on February 14. Senior Paige Williamson paced Devine shooting a 113 over 18 holes of competition.
Lillie Weyel (118), Gracie Ricord (129), Lillian Steele (133), and Sydney Weyel (141) rounded out the 5-person team who next plays in Devine on February 24.
Warhorses
The Devine Warhorse golf team got its second tournament of the year under their belt last Friday and Saturday in Pleasanton. Senior Brandon Flues led the Horses shooting an 89 on day one and a 92 on day two for a two-day total 181.
Denton Zuercher (115/112-227), Bryce Winkler (121/114-235), and Cutter Howard (118/125-243) accounted for the 883 team-score. Mason Martinez (127/125-252) was the number five player both days.
