Games are mounting up for Devine quicker than practices, but once tournament season is over, the team will be able to settle into a normal routine prior to district action beginning December 13 in Uvalde.

Devine picked up Coach Hannah Thompson’s first career home victory at The Honorary Sessions’ Court at Devine Student Activity Center November 19 as the Arabians shot down Crystal City 54-35.
A torrid start for Devine on their home court as they shot 68% in the first quarter to race out to a 22-9 lead after the first 8 minutes. The Arabians continued to pile it on in the second quarter as they led 35-16 at the break which helped propel them to their 19-point crushing of the Spinach-Capital-of-the-World-representing Lady Javelinas
Three Arabians scored in double figures, led by Airyanna Rodriguez’s 18 points. Kenadi Marek and Natalie Valle each chipped in a dozen while Oakley Malone paved the way with 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
