The annual Friendship Art Show and Sale was filled with fun and surprises. A large crowd enjoyed the Student Art Show, twenty-two creative booths, an extensive drawing and good food and company. Visitors and artists shared an opportunity to judge the art work with a ballot for their favorite art in the show for the Peoples’ Choice Award.
Visitors meandered in and out of booths and cast their ballot for their favorite art work. This year’s Peoples’ Choice Award from the members’ competition and booth participants went to Dale Andrews. His oil painting included a variety of classic cars parked in front of Gruene Hall.
In the Student Exhibit, Best of Show winner, Marissa Hernandez from Lytle High School, also won the Peoples’ Choice Award. Marissa, a freshman, exhibited a graphite portrait of a dragon.
