On Wednesday, April 3, 2019 Angela Kay Carter, loving wife, step-mother, daughter, sister and aunt passed away peacefully at the age of 59.
Angela was born March 25, 1960 in Valdese, North Carolina to Margaret Dennis.She was later adopted by her forever Dad, Keith Dennis, in 1962. She received her Associates degree from Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Angela was the office manager for American Tire Distributers in Ashville, North Carolina. Angela met and married Thomas “Joe” Carter in 2000. She immediately included Joe’s children into her life, loving them as her own. She adored her many nieces and nephews.
Angela had a passion for reading and would collect books from where she found them. She was a “people person” and as such had many friends in the community and across the world. She touched many lives through her Christian testimony. She was known for her “giving” spirit and complete love and loyalty for her family and friends.
Angela was preceded in death by her brother, Randall Dennis. She is survived by her husband, Joe, children T.J., Brandon, Rebecca and eleven grandchildren;her father Keith Dennis, mother Margaret Dennis, sisters, Laura West and husband John West, Lisa West and husband Louis West;ten nieces and three nephews as well as 24 great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Angela’s wish was to have “Love Offerings” sent to Redemption Baptist Church in order to continue the outreach and spread of the word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 10:30 A.M. Redemption Baptist Church Devine, Texas. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 11:00 A.M. Redemption Baptist Church Devine, Texas.
