Andrew “Dook” Duarte Botello, of Castroville, passed away on August 7, 2019 at the age of 36 years. He was born June 11, 1983 in San Antonio, Texas to Omero Botello, Sr. and Stella Duarte Botello.
Andrew was a 2002 graduate of Medina Valley High School.
Survivors include his daughter, Ava Kenzie Botello; parents, Omero Sr. and Stella Botello of Castroville; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Botello and Dale Hysell of Castroville; brother and sister-in-law, Omero Jr. and Catherine Botello of San Antonio; nieces and nephews, Alyssa Cantu, Armando Cantu, Jr., Dale Hysell, Jr., Arcelia Botello and Mia Hernandez-Botello; numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Andrew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frutoso Tomas Botello and Santos de Los Santos Botello and Ramiro Mejia Duarte and Rosa Balderes Duarte; uncles, Ismael Botello, Robert Duarte and Jimmy Alvizo.
A Celebration of Life for Andrew will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Braden Keller Community Center Gymnasium, 1410 Amelia Street, Castroville, Texas. At Andrew’s family request, potluck dishes are welcomed.
Memorials may be made in Andrew’s memory to the charity of your choice.
