Born in Eagle Pass, Texas, Adelita was the first-born child of Maria Teresa Soliz and Eliseo Villarreal.
As an older sister to two younger siblings, she was a true role model. Adelita was a kind, compassionate, gentle, and amazingly strong woman who lost her battle with cancer.
Respected and cared for by all who had the honor of knowing her, Adelita was a Lytle resident from the age of six and a1987 graduate of Lytle High School.
At the age of 50, she is survived by a family who loved her very deeply. Her sweet demeanor, courageous yet gentle spirit, beautiful smile, and kindness has touched many lives. She will be missed.

Plans for a celebration of life are up-coming. Information on the date, location, and time will soon be released.
In lieu of fresh-cut flowers, the family is requesting potted plants or trees. They plan to create a memoral garden for Adelita.
