The 8th Grade Maroon Fillys played Pearsall on September 17th and won 25-18 and 25-13. “The girls played well but not to their potential. The scores shouldn’t have been as close as they were. But we definitely ran a more aggressive offense.” Coach Shana Beaty. The Fillys played a hard game and it was their first district game this season. On Monday night they played Carrizo Springs and next Monday they will play in Uvalde. The Fillys are now 2-1 overall and 1-0 in district.
