Natalia 8th grade girl’s basketball captured the Natalia Tournament Championship on January 18th. We won our first game over Pearsall 35-28. Our scorers were: Kody Blanquiz 22 points, Trina Vera 8 points, Trista Boucher 4 points, and Genesis Hernandez 1point.
In the championship game we defeated Carrizo Springs 30-18. Scoring for the Lady Mustangs were Trista Boucher had 12 points, Kody Blanquiz 11 points, and Trina Vera 7 points
We have found our identity and we have played smart basketball during the three straight wins. We are looking forward to continuing our success against Dilley this week.
