The 8th Grade Lady Mustangs’ A team won again against Cotulla but they had to work a little harder as Cotulla took them to three sets. Natalia dropped the first set 13-25 but fought hard in the close second set that went to 26-24 in Natalia’s favor. In the final set, the young Mustangs proved they were the tougher team and won it 15-9.
The B team fell 25-18 and 25-19 to Cotulla but they never gave up and played hard for each point.
The teams will play in Dilley on September 9th with games starting at 5:00pm. Their next home game will be September 13th against Jourdanton.
