Improving each week, the 7th Grade Lady Mustangs faced Cotulla on September 2nd. The A team won in three sets to improve their record to 2-0. They won the first set 25-20 but a few mistakes in the second lost them the set 18-25. In the third set both teams played aggressively but it was Natalia that came out on top to win it 15-11!
In only their second game, the 7th Grade B team fell to Cotulla in two sets at 7-24 and 7-22. The young Mustangs worked hard for every ball but they fell short and learned the areas they need to work on.
The Jr High Lady Mustangs will play in Dilley on September 9th and at home against Jourdanton on September 13th.
