B Team
Dilley and Poth are two tough teams, but the 8th Grade Lady Mustangs B team beat them both. Playing Dilley on October 14th, the B team beat them 24-17 and 25-12. When they traveled to Poth on Monday night, Natalia took control of the game and held on to the lead to win it 25-11 and 25-20.
Now 4-3-1, the B team will head to Karnes City on October 25th for their final game.
A Team
The 8th Grade Lady Mustangs A team added a win and a loss. They beat Dilley on October 13th and then fell to Poth on October 18th. Now 5-3, the A team will finish their season on October 25th when they face Karnes City.
Last week in Natalia, the Lady Mustangs took Dilley down in two sets. Winning 25-19 and 25-16, the A team worked hard to keep their defense strong. When they took on Poth, Monday night, Natalia dropped the first set 11-25 but came back and nearly had the second set before the Pirates won it 25-21.
