B Team Wins First Home Game
In their first home game of the season, the 7th Grade Lady Mustangs’ B Team faced Lytle on December 12th. They had an amazing game and are starting to figure the speed of the game. I’m very proud of their progress. They won 16-13.
Scoring for the 8th grade B team was Makayla Rodriguez 6, Sarah2, Lilly Cotrich 4, Iliana Mendez 2, and Syrene Gallegos 2.
The Lady Mustangs will play Cotulla at home January 9th and then Dilley January 23rd.
A Team Crush Lady Pirates
The Lady Mustangs’ A team scored a whopping 43 points against Lytle on December 12th. With a final score of 43-12, Yahdira Luhan led the team with an amazing 28 points. Also scoring for the Lady Mustangs was Abigail Fulton with 7, Rubiana Juarez with 6, and Lacey Watson scores 2.
I’m very proud of their fight and how hard they competed throughout the whole game. I’m hoping they take their intensity into their next game in Jourdanton on Thursday.
The 7th Grade Lady Mustangs will play at home against Cotulla January 9th and then host their home tournament January 18th.
