7th Grade Colts vs Pearsall

7th grade Colt #27 Jayden Reyes rusn the ball against Pearsall

The 7th grade Colt’s football team faced Pearsall last Thursday night and after four rough quarters, the Colts fell 6-28. After tying the game at 6, Pearsall took control of the game and the score board.
“Sometimes you have to just give the other team credit, and I cannot do anything but praise how well the Pearsall football team played in our 6-28 loss. Pearsall came out with that fight that we lack from the very being of the game. I thought we answered the early challenge on Evan Sanchez’s 6 yard touchdown run to tie the game up at 6. We just could not build off of that as the game progress. Jacob Rodriguez played well at the QB and cornerback spot. He completed several passes, and also had an interception on the defensive side of the ball. Tyler Pike played well on offense, and Brayden Reyes was a small bright spot on defense. We have hit a lull right now and we need to bounce back this week against a hungry Poteet team. I hope we come out with the fight needed to get the job done.” Coach Quenton Sanders
The Colts will play one game against Poteet, at home tomorrow night starting at 4:30. Their final game will be in Carrizo Springs November 7th.
