$7,700 raised for HANK foster kids

The Pat and Kitty DuBose Memorial Christmas Light Challenge for HANK (Helping Abused and Neglected Kids) top winners…..L to R is the Ingelston family (2nd place), HANK Co-founder John Southwell (middle), and the Morris Family (1st place). The Ingelstons won a $250 gift card courtesy of Medina Electric Coop. The Morris family won a $500 gift card courtesy of DJ Carlson Memorial Bust n Burn. Overall $7,700 was raised during the light contest for HANK’s local foster children, which have homes in Devine and Hondo to keep foster children closer to family and friends. Devine Area Hospice Thrift Store was the largest donor at $5,000, challenging others to take part each year by launching the contest challenge.
