A 18-year-old man is charged with Aggravated Robbery after a 16-year-old victim claimed that the man pulled up in the driveway with a shotgun and stole the victim’s cell phone. It happened about 3 miles east of Lytle in the 3200 block of FM 3175 in the Brand M Ranchettes. It happened around 2 am.
However deputies stated this was not a random act. Atascosa County Sheriff David Soward said, “It’s a mess, but the victim and the man arrested were known associates. One side stated it was a drug deal, and the other man claims that someone just pulled up in the driveway and took their phone at gunpoint.”
The victims followed the man who took the phone, and lost them. Then a couple hours later, the victims and deputies located the suspect in the Shalamar Subdivision on Hwy 16 near Poteet. An 18-year-old man was booked into Atascosa County Jail, and charged with Aggravated Robbery.
