14th Annual Old Iron Trail Ride slated for May 18

The 14th Annual Old Iron Trail Ride is Saturday, May 18.

The 14th Annual Old Iron Trail Ride will take to the roads on Saturday, May 18 to raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & South Texas. In the past 14 years, the participants have raised enough funds to provide more than 24 wishes due to the generosity of businesses and residents of Medina County.
This year the drive will begin at the Graff 7A Ranch South Texas Maize out of Hondo, meeting at 8 a.m. and leaving between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided around noon and will be served at the Graff 7A Ranch.
Tractors, restored or not, new or old, that can travel at 8 to 10 miles per hour may join in the fun. Also, old trucks and cars are welcome as they are also a part of Farm History! Children 16 and younger may only drive with a parental consent form and supervision.
No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
One hundred percent of the funds raised by the ride will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
As a special event following the trail ride, the Graff 7A Ranch/South Texas Maize will hold a concert featuring Ray Scott from 8 until 9:30 that evening. A portion of those proceeds will also go to the Old Iron Trail Ride for the Make-A- Wish Foundation.
