Warhorses 6th, Arabians 7th at Bulldog XC Invitational; Morin, Rodriguez continue to pace respective teams

Bandera City Park was the site of the Bulldog Invitational as 118 boys and 120 girls ran in the varsity divisions during the still-somewhat-cool Saturday morning early races. Isaiah Morin led the 6th place Warhorses with an 18th place individual finish while Airyanna Rodriguez led the 7th place Arabians coming in 4th individually.
Morin ran his 5K in 18:23 in the field of 118 runners. Christopher Ortiz came in 30th at 18:58 and Thomas TJ Mendoza was 45th at 19:39. Getting closer and closer to breaking the 20-minute mark are Marcus Espinosa who placed 65th with a 20:33 and 67th place Kristofer Aguirre who finished in 20:43.
Taylor Hurst was 81st at 21:38 and Jesse House placed 82nd at 21:40.
Rodriguez ran her two-miles in 12:54 against 119 other competitors. Kristina Moralez finished 26th with a 13:30 while Charlee Rangel was the next Arabian in 28th with a 13:34. Yessika Garza placed 46th at 13:59, Jilliyan Guajardo was 74th at 14:54, Trinity Black came in 78th with a 15:20, and Kendall Marek was 81st at 15:31.
Devine continues to run all participants in the varsity division to continue evaluation and competitiveness among the runners. Devine had no Warhorse or Arabian JV runners in this invitational.
