The Devine Warhorse powerlifting team captured second place at Texas Strength Systems last Wednesday in San Antonio. Devine narrowly missed the championship plaque by eight points to Bandera, 43-35.
Eric Hernandez, Diego Mendoza, Victor Schaefer, Zachary Martinez, and Rafael Estala all won their individual weight classifications. Hernandez was also recognized as the Best Lifter in the 148-pound division
