With only three games left in the District 27-4A season, Devine is looking to make a late push for that fourth and final spot. Sitting at 4-5 with upcoming games against Somerset on April 17, at Pearsall on April 21, and the finale at home against Floresville the Horses need a little help in making it to the UIL Postseason Playoffs.
The Horses dropped an 11-inning, 3-2 marathon-match against Pleasanton to end last week, a game Devine could have used to position themselves firmer in the playoff race.
