Two shots fired on 6th St.

A resident called to report shots fired in a neighborhood near the intersection of the 700 block of 6th street in Natalia last Wednesday, March 4 around 11:15pm.
Natalia PD officers made scene, and while no property damages were found, they did find two shell casings from a .380 handgun.
“You know that bullet travels 1,200-1,500 feet a second, and it’s going somewhere,” Chief Glen Barrow said. “It’s very lucky that it didn’t hit someone or something in a populated area like that.”
Chief Barrow reminds residents that the discharge of any firearm in the City of Natalia is illegal. An individual who discharges a firearm recklessly could be face felony Deadly Conduct charges.
