She was born on January 23rd, 1937, in Hondo, Texas to the late Tom Watson and Bertha (Breiten) Watson who she lost at a very young age. Tomie attended St. Mary’s University and later retired after working 19 years for Natalia ISD as a teacher’s aide where she made an impact on many young lives. In retirement she enjoyed going on family vacations all around the country, playing slot machines at casinos, quilting, planting flowers and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
