The Rick Cavender Band performing this Saturday, Feb. 23

Back by popular demand, the Devine Area Artists’ Series is proud to welcome back The Rick Cavender Band on February 23! Rick and his band always put on a great show and this upcoming concert is sure to be one of his best. This band plays a wide variety of music from country to oldies rock and classics we all love! They will have you dancing in your seats and singing along to all your favorites.
The concert will open with a tribute to the golden age classics from the 50s and 60s. Some of the songs you will hear include “Save the Last Dance For Me” by The Drifters, “Suspicious Minds” by Elvis Presley, and “Crying” by Roy Orbison. The second half of the concert is dedicated to country and folk classics and will include songs like “I Need You Now” by Lady Antibellum, “Stand By Your Man” by Tammy Winette, and “Marina Del Rey” by George Strait.
Rick Cavender and his band have been entertaining audiences for decades. The band consists of Rick Cavender on guitar and vocals, Rick Ramirez on piano and vocals, Tammy Frost on drum and vocals, Tommy Meneses on bass and vocals, and Keith Harter on lead guitar and vocals.
This concert will start at 7:30 pm on Saturday, February 23, at the George S. Woods Community Center in Devine. Tickets at the door are $10. Students K-12 are admitted free if accompanied by an adult. Parking is free and refreshments are served at the intermission.

The final concert of the season will be the Mike Kasberg Quartet on March 30, 2019.
