Silent auction and rummage sale to benefit Hurst family

On March 10, from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m., family and friends of Kelly Hurst will be hosting a silent auction and rummage sale.
Donations for the silent auction and rummage sale can be dropped off at Top Notch Cleaners: 508 W. Hondo Ave. The family is also offering to pick up donations. All proceeds will go directly to the Hurst family for medical expenses. In 2023, Hurst was diagnosed with “chiari malformation,” which is a condition where the opening at the base of the skull is too small, and with high pressure, parts of the brain are pushed into the neck.
Before finding out of her diagnosis, Hurst had been misdiagnosed for three decades. As upsetting as this was, she remained hopeful.
