Lifting a total of 940 pounds, Senior Emili Oliver placed 3rd at the Regional meet and will be moving onto the state powerlifting meet March 19-21 in Waco. Her coaches are proud of the hard work she has put in this season and cannot wait to see how she does at state.
Lytle’s powerlifting future is bright.
Regional Qualifying Girls were: Alize Sanchez, April Bodie, Diamond Walker-Smith*, Alexis Flores, and Emili Oliver.
Regional Qualifying Boys were: Quen Syma, Jason Vega*, and Rylan Wagner.
The Pirates will compete in the Boys Regional Meet this week in Bishop. Their state meet is March 26-28 in Abilene.
