Volunteers were able to fill over 200 backpacks last year at the carnival hosted outside Devine Health and Rehab, and this year will be even bigger and better! 
There will be dozens of vendors giving away school supplies as well as a Health Fair and lots of fun activities such as a Dunking Booth and Jumping castles.
It will be held Tuesday, August 6 from 3-6 pm outside Devine Health and Rehab located at 104 Enterprise Avenue in Devine.
“If you participate through the entire carnival your kids will be able to get everything on their school supply list,” said a representative. “We filled 200 backpacks last year and hope to fill even more this year. There will also be a health fair offering blood pressure checks, etc, and South Texas Blood and Tissue will be there holding a blood drive.”
There will also be items to purchase from the food truck or snow cone vendor.
