Ruby “Karen” Taylor Davis, age 62, of Castroville, TX, passed away August 10, 2018 in her home after a long illness. She was born June 7, 1956 in Hampton, VA.Karen made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ at the First Baptist Church in Schertz, TX.
Survivors include parents, Ray and Judy Taylor of Campbellsville, KY; beloved friend, James Carignan of Castroville, TX; her children, son, Benjamin Owen (Monica) of Hondo, TX, daughter, Rebecca Wible (Darrell) of Hondo, TX. Her grandchildren include Jazemine Owen, Catlynn Tapia, Brenda Owen, Deztanie and Joseph Hellsten. She is also survived by her siblings, Reba Taylor Muhlnickel (Charles), Jennifer Sterling (Stuart), Sheila Cox, Myrna Bray (Jeff), Raeitta Chamblee, Molly Washington, Yolanda Ramirez (Roland), Angela Alvarado (Gilbert), and Rodney Goodson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family.
Karen is preceded in death by her mother, Jane Washington; son, Gordon Owen, and brother Earl Goodson.
Memorial Service was Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Schertz 600 Aero Ave, Schertz, TX 78154.
