Roy Boyd of Bigfoot, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in Dilley, Texas at the age of 84. Roy was born on April 19, 1935 in Bigfoot, Texas to father William Arthur Boyd and mother Gladys Rene Hunt.
Roy is preceded in death by his father William Boyd, mother Gladys Boyd, sister Jean Wilson, and brother in law James Leroy Wilson.
Roy is survived by his wife Emma Boyd; son, Tyran Boyd; daughters, Adean Velasquez, Julie Heirholzer and husband Ken, and Janay Boyd; brothers, Calvin Boyd, Bill Boyd; sisters, Joan Chapman, Joyce McRee, Marion Mergele, Linda Henehan; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Hurley Funeral Home Devine, Texas, with interment at the Longview Cemetery in Bigfoot, Texas.
