Ronald was born on July 2, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia to Joseph Harrison Byrd and Margaret Ann Weems Byrd Jones.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Byrd and Margaret Jones.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Linda Kay Byrd; daughters, Angela Byrd Martin and husband, Stacey, Amy Alyssa Hymer, Lori Beth Richards and husband, Jeremy; brother, Ricky Lee Byrd; Grandchildren, Tyler Ray Lawrence. Brittany Kay Lawrence, Laney Rae Richards, Madeleine Ann Hymer; Great-Grandchildren, Tanner Ray Lawrence, Eleanor Kay Lawrence and Nephew Dustin Lee Byrd.
Visitation was held Friday, August 23, 2019 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Hurley Funeral Home Chapel Devine, Texas. Funeral Services were held Saturday, August 24, 2019 10:00 A.M. First Baptist Church Devine, Texas with internment following in Evergreen Cemetery.
