Roger Dale Jackel, age 68, of Natalia, Texas, passed away on March 1, 2022, in Natalia. Roger was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 13, 1953, to Ruthie B. and Clarence A. Jackel.
Roger is preceded in death by his wife: Kay F. Jackel; his father: Clarence A. Jackel; and brother: Ernest Jackel.
Roger is survived by his daughter: Amy Renee Fryar (Corbett); stepdaughter: Julie O’ Marah; stepsons: Gerald “J.J.” O’Marah (Deanna), and Jeffery O’Marah (Tiffany); mother: Ruthie B. Jackel; sisters: Wanda Wells, Thelma Davis (Kelvin), Ella Krumm, and Brenda Baird (Denny); brother: Robert Jackel (Marie); 10 grandchildren; Allyson, Kaytelyn (Michael), Tyler (Holly), Peyton, Koltyn, Amber, Kelsey, Brielle, Trey, and Jenna, and 2 great-grandchildren: Everleigh, and baby E.
Pallbearers: Koltyn O’Marah, Corbett Fryar, Peyton Willis, Tyler O’Marah, Gary Sprague, and Jeff Stiewig.
A visitation will be held from10:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, atthe First Baptist Church of Devine. Interment will follow immediately after services at Hermann Sons Cemetery.
