It’s never a matter of if, but when with the Lytle Pirates. The black and gold rally back with an overwhelming victory over the Poteet Aggies, 58-33. The Homecoming night was capped off with their first district win of the season and head coach Mike Trevino couldn’t be prouder of the kids after the bounce back win.
“The last few weeks have tested us, and our kids could’ve allowed those moments to define them, but they didn’t. They kept showing up, kept believing, and kept fighting for each other.,” Trevino revealed. “To come back home, on Homecoming, with our community behind us and find a way to get our first district win—that meant a lot.”
