November is here and the Teen Library Club at the Driscoll Public Library has some fun events that are just for teens!
Thanksgiving Movie Double Feature and Meal Nov. 15
Join the Teen Library Club on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 5:00 pm to 6:15 pm for our showing of these animated Thanksgiving classics, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and Garfield’s Thanksgiving! Peppermint Patty invites herself and her friends over to Charlie Brown’s for Thanksgiving, and with Linus, Snoopy, and Woodstock, he attempts to throw together a Thanksgiving dinner. And, Garfield’s owner, Jon finds a love interest-a veterinarian who orders Garfield on a diet-and then comes for Thanksgiving dinner! We will also be serving a Charlie Brown inspired meal of jelly beans, popcorn, pretzels and toast! The showing will start promptly at 5:00, so be sure to arrive with plenty of time to find a seat. Snacks will be provided, but teens are welcome to bring their own snacks, blankets, and chairs.
Teen Game Night Nov. 29
The Teen Library Club is hosting a fun-filled Game Night on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Bring your friends and join us for some classic card and board games! Feel free to bring your favorite games or play some of ours. Snacks will be provided.
