On Sunday, June 7, 2020 Noel Sanchez, loving husband, son, and brother passed away at age 48 at his residence in Charlotte, Texas. Noel was born on October 11, 1971 in Pleasanton, Texas, and he is originally from Devine, Texas.
Noel is survived by his wife Melissa Sanchez and parents Francisca and Concepcion Sanchez Jr. He will be deeply missed by his sister’s Irma, Dora, his brother Abel, his brothers-in-law Rudy Hernandez, Spencer Beacham, and sister-in-law Christina Sanchez. Noel’s children are Christopher, Noel Jr., Leon, Imani, Giovanni, and stepchildren Joni, Evolent, Mike, and his grandchildren are Christopher Jr., Coda, and Saint, Alex. Noel is the grandchild of the late Luisa and Concepcion Sanchez Sr., the late Dionicio and Maria Gonzales and was embraced as the son-in-law of Asiano and the late Hermencia Sanchez. Noel was a warm-hearted uncle to all his nieces and nephews: Amanda, Clarissa, Jordan, Noah, Alize, Nivea, Abel Jr., Kimora, and Jeremiah.
Noel started working at age sixteen and devoted thirty-two years following the family tradition and passion in the Oil Fields. He traveled out of the country to Brazil and Africa for several years, was a crane operator on Deepwater Horizon offshore oil drilling and worked side by side these last few years with his father at Basic Energy Service out of Pearsall, Texas. Noel loved to go fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle with his friends. Noel will always be remembered for his enduring smile, laughter, and caring personality. He enjoyed helping others and celebrating with family and friends. We are blessed to have had him in our lives and shared so many memories that we will hold close to our hearts. He is loved and will always be remembered.
Visitation will be held Thursday June 11, 2020 from 2:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine, TX. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 12, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with interment to follow in the Chiliptin Cemetery Charlotte, TX.
