Nathan Eugene Grissom, of Rio Medina, passed away on January 14, 2022 at the age of 61. He was born November 24, 1960 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Doyle Eastham Grissom and Callie Jean Hicks Grissom.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Grissom; children and their spouses, Stephanie and Jonathan Clark, Robin Grissom, Ashley Grissom, Arleana and Trey Tristan, Nathaniel and Kelsey Grissom, Alyzabeth Grissom, Layne Grissom, and Landyn Grissom; grandchildren, Chassidi, Jonathan, Logan, and Tanner; mother, Callie Jean Hicks Grissom; siblings, Doyle Grissom “Bubba”, Deborah Heath, Bart Grissom (Penny), and Don Grissom (Glenda); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Grissom; his brother, Kriss Grissom; and his sister, Vada Farr.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Celebration of his Life will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022 at The Jesus Church, 2035 Hwy 90 West, Castroville, TX, 78009.
Memorials may be made in Nathans’s memory to the Jesus Church to help the family with medical expenses.
