Natalia opened their season on press night in Blanco County vs. the Johnson City Eagles. This coming weekend, the boys in blue travel to Atascosa County to battle in the Charlotte Trojan Tournament as they get into the mix of non-district action.
“Last Friday’s scrimmage was our last tune-up before our season began,” Coach Kasey Crowther said. “We have shown great improvement from our first scrimmage to now and we are excited about getting things started.”
Natalia opens the tournament Friday at 12:00 p.m. as they battle the Randolph Ro-Hawks in the tourney opener. Game two of the day, will be a rare match-up vs. Woodsboro at 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, the Stangs return for a 10:00 a.m. battle vs. host Charlotte before battling LaPryor at 2:00 p.m.
Natalia will be open March 3rd as they prepare for the Edgewood Tournament the following weekend.
