07/16-Unwanted Person – Officer on duty was dispatched to Love’s Truck Stop for a report of an unwanted person on the premises. Upon arrival at the location the Officer conducted a search of the property for the individual and was unsuccessful in locating the subject.
07/16-Disorderly Conduct – Officer on duty was dispatched to a Disturbance in progress between a male and female subject. Upon arrival at the location contact was made with the two individuals who were no longer arguing. Neither party wanted to lodge a complaint and stated they simply had a misunderstanding. As the Officer departed the location he was waved down by a female who told the Officer she was walking past the couple arguing and she felt a rock hit her in the head. As the complainant turned around she realized one of the two individuals had thrown the rock that hit her. The Officer returned and made contact with the male and female and asked about the thrown rock. The female stated that her boyfriend had thrown two rocks at her and missed but had accidentally hit the complainant as she was passing by them at the time. The Officer proceeded to issue a Citation to the boyfriend for his actions and he agreed to appear in court.


07/17-Dog bite – Officer on duty received a radio dispatch to assist MCSO with a report for a dog bite. Upon arrival at the location the Officer and Deputy were unsuccessful in making contact with the complainant who had already been transported to the hospital or the dog owners because they had departed the location.
07/18-Dog Bite – Officer on duty was dispatched to pick up a dog that bit a female subject. Upon arrival at the location the Officer was met by the Medina Animal Control Officer and the Officer’s made an attempt to contact the owner by knocking. When no one answered the door the dog was removed from the location and taken to the kennels.
07/18- Assist Citizen – Officer on duty was dispatched to assist an broken down 18 Wheeler driver stranded in the middle of the road off FM 471. Upon arrival at the location the Officer provided traffic control until the truck was able to be towed out of the road safely.
07/19- AOA – Officer on duty received a radio dispatch to assist MCSO with an active disturbance. Upon arrival at the location contact was made with one subject who stated he and his grandfather had been in a physical altercation with two shots fired at him so he called 911. The subject was complaining of rib and arm pain and requested medical services. The complainant stated the grandfather had run into the wooded area of the property when the Officer’s had approached the property. A search of the area resulted in the second subject being located. He was sitting in the middle of the driveway waiting for law enforcement to arrive. The subject complied with the Officer’s instruction and was not armed. Further investigation into the matter indicated a disturbance had occurred between the two parties and two shotgun rounds were fired by the grandfather. The shotgun was located and the grandfather was arrested and transported to Medina County Jail.
07/20- An Information – Officer on duty was dispatched to Chubby Travel Center regarding a male subject in a White Dodge Truck who was attempting to grab women into his vehicle. Upon arrival at the location the Officer proceeded to drive around the property in an effort to find the male subject. After a while a female approached the Officer and stated that the male subject had been following the woman around the store in an effort to get them to leave with him and get their phone numbers. The Officer was unable to locate the male subject on the property but stayed with the ladies until they got back on the bus and departed the location safely.
