Mustang track 3rd place at district

The Natalia Mustang track team took third place at the District 27-AAA meet last week in Jourdanton. Natalia’s 89 points put them ten points ahead of fourth place Dilley and only eleven points from achieving runner-up status as the Lytle Pirates scored 100 points for that honor. Poth posted 112 points to win the District Championship.
“I am extremely proud of how all of our athletes competed,” said Head Coach Jason Reynolds. “They worked hard all season long and are peaking at the right time. In a year of uncertainty, they made the most of their opportunities. Congratulations to our Area Qualifiers and I look forward to them representing our team and community!”
