Morris S. Tomlinson Jr. was born October 4th, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas and passed away at the age of 70 on December 13, 2018. He is survived by his wife Claudia, daughter Audrey and son Kelly, his sisters Linda Gail and Betty and numerous nieces and nephews. He was “Papa” to 6 grandkids and 2 great grandkids. Morris served in the US Navy from 1965 to 1966 and the US Army from 1966 to 1969. Morris was married to Claudia in 1971. He began his career with the Bexar County Sheriff’s office. A short time after that he went through the San Antonio Police Academy and became a SAPD Police Officer for over 20 years. During those years Morris was known as Maddog across the SAPD community. He was a part of the Presidential Police motorcade escorting the President of United States twice. Morris retired to Murphy, TX with Claudia in 2000. Morris enjoyed volunteering numerous hours barbequing briskets for benefits and for many family gatherings.
