Mission Devine on for 2021

Organizers of Mission Devine have announced that the ecumenical, non-profit organization sponsored by the Devine Ministerial Fellowship will hold its annual project work week on June 7th through June 12th. Last year’s work week was interrupted by the Covid-19 lockdown.
During the June Work Week, the organization, made up of all volunteers, tackles projects of repair, maintenance and modifications of homes and yards in the Devine area for the elderly and those financially in need.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, many opportunities are available for both youth and adults during the week. You may volunteer any day of the week or every day, for just mornings, just afternoons or for the entire day. Skilled volunteers are needed to manage work crews and/or projects. Among others, there are opportunities for painting and prep work, electrical, general handyman work, carpentry… some light some a bit heavier, plumbing work, help preparing lunches, and yard work. Donations are very much appreciated as well as prayers that the work goes well and safely.
To fill out your participation form, please contact your pastor or Todd Summers at 210-287-6883, or Patrick Bourcier at 830-931-1532. If you have questions you may also visit the website at www.missiondevine.org.
