Medina County Brown Santa accepting applications for assistance

Medina County Brown Santa provides Christmas meals and gifts to economically disadvantaged families.

Each year the Medina County Brown Santa Program provides full holiday meals for economically disadvantaged families. The children of those disadvantaged families will also be provided a wrapped Christmas gift for ages 14 and under. To apply for assistance, you must be a resident of Medina County and reside outside city limits.
“This could not be done without the good will and big hearts of Medina county citizens, businesses and civic groups whom love and support the Brown Santa Program each year. We realize we will never be able to help everyone in need, but we hope and pray to make a huge impact in our community. At this time we are graciously accepting donations in the form of toys or money. These donations are for selected families set to receive Christmas meals and gifts for the holidays. Please help the Brown Santa Program continue to help those in need,” the sheriff’s office said in their annual letter addressed to private citizens and businesses who may want to help with this effort.
