Medina County announces two more COVID-19 cases, acquired locally

Medina County released a statement today, Friday, March 27th, notifying residents that there have been two more confirmed cases of COVID-19.   Officials are not sure where 2 more people were exposed to the COVID-19, but believe it was acquired locally.  This brings Medina County to 3 COVID cases.

“These individuals live in the same household in the country side, not in the city. It has been determined that they acquired COVID-19 locally, meaning within the county and they do not know who they acquired it from,” a press release states. “There has been no community spread from those individuals and they are currently self isolating at home.”

The first COVID case was reported Tuesday, March 17th.
