Mary “Sue” Pemberton Alexander, of Castroville, passed away at her home in Castroville on June 11, 2021 at the age of 70. She was born September 21, 1950 in Gideon, Missouri to Clifford Pemberton and Alice McGraw Pemberton.
Sue served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. On June 28, 1980, Sue married Dwight Wayne “Alex” Alexander in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori Haby (Eddie) of Castroville; grandsons, Bryce Haby, Logan Haby and Tanner Haby; brothers, Clifford Pemberton of Michigan and Larry Pemberton (Sharon) of Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Dwight W. “Alex” Alexander; sister-in-law, Cheryl Pemberton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 9:45 a.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
