Mary Jane Rodriguez, age 50 of Devine, Texas went to sleep on August 18, 2019 and woke up peacefully in Heaven. Awaiting her was her son John Anthony Rodriguez III.
She was born February 23, 1969 to Irenio and Janie Bustamante in Hondo, Tx. She was survived by her daughter Corina Rodriguez, parents Irenio and Janie Bustamante, niece Valarie and husband Michael Ramirez, great nephews and niece (who she cared for as her grandchildren) Marc, Jayson, Kris, Jacob, and Mya, her sister Flora and brother-in-law Joe Sevier, nieces and nephew Crystal, Miranda and Caleb, and great nephew Kirin, uncles, aunts, numerous cousins and father of her children John Anthony Rodriguez Jr.
She loved working as a CNA/Provider. She would go out of her way for each of her patients always with a smile and made numerous friends along the way.
We love you and will miss you every day. Thank you for all the great times we had together. We’ll always carry those memories with us.
Our hearts are broken but we find comfort in knowing you are at peace.

Mary Jane’s wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes laid to rest beside her son.
Rosary will be held September 28, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church starting at 9:30am with services following. A short interment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery and will be followed by a luncheon at the hall. Per family request help with a potluck would be greatly appreciated.
