Maria Abigail Muraira born on February 20, 1944 in Guerrero, Coahuila, Mexico entered into rest on October 11, 2021 at the age of 77 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otilio “Sonny” Muraira and son, Otilio Muraira III and grandson, Sonny Muraira Perez.
She is survived by her children, Thelma Wander and husband Richard, Juan Antonio Muraira, Ismael Muraira, Veronica Muraira, Doralinda Balencia and husband Timothy, Teresa Gutierrez and husband Domingo, Alejandro Muraira, and Abigail Muraira Perez and husband Robert ; sister, Maria Aurelia Rodriguez; brother, Daniel De La Cruz; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Alamo Funeral Chapels, 624 N. Alamo St., San Antonio, Texas. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 14831 Main St., Lytle, Texas with the interment to follow at San Lorenzo Cemetery in Lytle, Texas.
