Margie Lucille Williamson found eternal rest on September 24, 2023. Margie was born to Nobel and Helen Banks in Hondo, TX on September 12, 1949.
She was a graduate of Devine High School and acquired multiple college degrees, notably a Bachelor of Science in Health Profession at Southwest Texas State University and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Science from Corpus Christi State University. Margie worked many years in Nursing until she found her niche in the field of communications with the DOD at Lackland AFB until retirement.
In her leisure time she enjoyed traveling the world and exploring many hobbies with those she loved.
She is survived by her siblings, RuthAnn Hurley of Devine, James Banks (Marilyn) of Devine, her three children; Dale Williamson (Christy) of Devine, Kim Gallegos of Devine, Scott Williamson (Danielle) of San Antonio and her seven grandchildren, amongst many other dear family members and friends.
Following the wishes of Margie, in lieu of services the family will hold a celebration of life on October 14, 2023 in her honor. Please contact the family for more details.
